6,7 and 8 grade Spanish Exploratory classes do exactly what the name implies. Students in 6th grade learn thematic vocabulary, some songs, numbers and basic greetings and goodbyes. 7th grade students complete Unit One in the Spanish One text book and 8th grade students complete Unit Two. The units cover basic culture and basic foundational rules of use as well as the beginning of simple word order and 12 actions. These two units prep the students for Spanish One in the High School when we begin with Unit Three.
