Congratulations to the Bruce High School Forensics Team on an outstanding job at the State competition in Madison! Hanna Anderson and Gretta Quade, sophomores, each received a gold in the Prose category. Kari Fetting and Angela Hause, freshmen, received a gold in their Play Acting category. Rachelle Rietmann, sophomore, won silver in Poetry. And freshmen Lucas Sturzl and Jordyn Stearns received bronze in Prose, and Kelsie Kopras and Alyssa Anderson won bronze in Play Acting. Congratulations on a great year!

The girls softball team defeated Lake Holcombe in the first round of Regional play 12-1. Next game for the girls in Tuesday at Shell Lake game time is 4:30. The baseball team defeated Northwood on Friday night. The golf team took 2nd at the Conference Meet on Thursday.

Baseball - Tuesday, Home vs. Birchwood 4:00 and Shell Lake at 6:15. Thursday at Barron 5:00

Softball - Tuesday, Regional Game round 2 at Shell Lake. Thursday, Regional final TBA.(if win on Tuesday)

Track - Monday, Regional at Flambeau 4:00 Thursday, Sectional at Colfax 3:00 for qualifiers from Monday.

Golf - Monday at Cumberland Golf Course, Tuesday Regional at Lake Wissota, Friday, Tee-Away Golf Course

JV Golf - Thursday, at Clear Lake Golf Course

We are planning a special summer school credit option for students in current grades of 7-10 for June of 2014 with a trip to Washington DC. Envelopes went to students this past week. Parents are also welcome to go on the trip. Early registration which saves you $50 ends the 23rd. See Mr. Villiard for more info.

FREE WIAA Medical Physicals will be offered at Marshfield Clinic in Rice Lake for students in grades 9-12 on Wednesday, May 29th at 5:30 pm. Pick up a physical form at school that must be signed by a parent. Call the clinic for an appointment at 715-236-8200.
