Ms. Susan Szotkowski
When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this, you haven't.
Welcome to Bruce Middle School Social Studies. Our interactive, on-line textbook for each grade level can be found through the Bruce web page by clicking on Students, Middle School, and Holt. Each student has a user name and password that provides access to the textbook used in class, and that access is available on any computer that has the internet. If a student forgets the user name or password, that information is found on the Bruce network Google Drive on each student's password chart.

All assignments are also available on-line. Sixth grade History and seventh grade U.S. History classes complete quizzes on the Google Classroom site and tests on the Holt site. Both are available through the internet, and user names and passwords are on the students' Google Drive password charts. Eighth grade Civics quizzes are available through either the Holt series under the Student Resource pull-down menu,Google Classroom, or on Infinite Campus by clicking on the Calendar option.

Study help is available through Studyblue, an online flash card and quiz site, that can be accessed anywhere there is internet through computers, iPad, or iPhones. Students can also study through a site called Quizlet where students use flashcards, matching, typing, or mini quizzes.

When students miss school, they are encouraged to study and complete assignments at home where internet is available. If you have any questions about our on-line textbooks, study sites, or assignments, please contact me.
