Hello! My name is James Schlauderaff, and I’m incredibly excited to join the Bruce School District as your new principal. I come to Bruce from the Barron Area School District, where I spent the last five years as the Elementary Dean of Students. I’m married to my amazing wife, Katie, and together we have four energetic boys, ages 9 to 15—so there’s never a dull moment at our house! I’m honored to take on this new role and look forward to becoming part of such a welcoming and dedicated school community.
Outside of school, I’m a big sports fan and enjoy staying active. I also love to read—especially Harry Potter or anything that can transport me to a new, exciting world.
I’m thrilled to get to know all of the students, families, and staff here at Bruce. This district has an incredible reputation, and I’m eager to build on its strong foundation and continue supporting our students in their academic and personal growth. I can’t wait to meet you all and work together to make this a fantastic year at Bruce!
