About our Red Raider High School Girls Basketball Program
The Bruce High School Girls Basketball program is committed to developing student-athletes who compete with passion, integrity, and teamwork. Our goal is to build confident young women who strive for excellence on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. Through hard work, dedication, and a family-first culture, Red Raider Basketball prepares players for success both during and beyond their high school careers.
Head Coach Karleigh Olson enters her second full season leading the Bruce Red Raiders Girls Basketball program. Basketball has always been a part of her life, as she grew up in the Bruce gym learning the game alongside her father, former Head Coach Brad Cody. Watching practices and games from a young age helped shape her passion for basketball and coaching.
Olson was a four-year varsity starter for the Ladysmith Lumberjills from 2010–2014 before continuing her education at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. She is committed to building a program founded on hard work, discipline, and energy—the same values that helped define the Red Raiders under Coach Cody. Olson's goal is to continue that tradition while leading Bruce back to conference championship contention and creating a positive, competitive experience for every student-athlete.
About our Red Raider Middle School Basketball Program
The Bruce Red Raider Middle School Basketball Program develops student-athletes who compete with integrity, work hard, and represent their school with pride. We are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where every athlete has the opportunity to grow in their basketball skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for the game.
Through teamwork, discipline, respect, and accountability, we strive to teach lessons that extend far beyond the basketball court. Success is measured not only by wins and losses, but by the character our athletes demonstrate, the relationships they build, and the commitment they show to becoming positive leaders in their school and community.
